Have your say on mental health support in Tees Valley

Healthwatch in Tees Valley would like to hear from people who have needed ongoing mental health support, especially where things haven’t worked as well as they should.

A conversation, not a complaint.

You might want to get in touch if:

▪️You’ve moved between hospital and community mental health services
▪️You’ve needed more support at home or in the community, but struggled to get it
▪️You or someone you care for has felt stuck between services or unsure where to turn next
▪️There have been repeat hospital admissions and not enough support in between

We’re also keen to hear from family members and carers supporting someone in this situation.

What you share will be:

▪️Confidential
▪️Anonymous
▪️Used to help NHS services understand what needs to improve, quickly

You don’t need to make a complaint or fill in a form. You can simply talk to us, by phone or in person, and we’ll listen.

Service Providers

As part of this work, we’re happy to come to health and care providers. Our statutory independence gives people the confidence to share what they can’t always say in services.

We recognise the great work providers do every day, and the need for genuine collaboration to make sure every voice shapes the improvements ahead.

If you are a provider who would like to be involved with this work, please contact us, we’re happy to come to you and support this collaboratively, using our independent voice to ensure people can speak openly.
