The categories of the Awards reflect the work that has been undertaken during the Covid-19 pandemic and shines light on both individuals and organisations as a whole, with further categories in 'Outstanding Achievement in the Business Sector', 'Outstanding Achievement in the Public Sector', 'Young Volunteer of the Year', 'Volunteer of the Year' and 'Outstanding for a VCSE Organisation'.

The SCCC project is delivered by North East charity the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP), to support the organisation’s overall mission of ‘making a difference’.

Toni McHale, Project Development Manager at PCP, said: “The SCCC team truly deserve recognition for their commitment to making a difference for diverse communities in Stockton-on-Tees.

“SCCCs have gone above and beyond to connect with minority groups in the Borough and campaign to prevent the spread of Covid-19.”
