Sexual Health - Young People's Survey (Stockton-on-Tees)

The Public Health Team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council would like to seek the views from young people on the current sexual health services.
Graphic of have your say

We have been asked to help promote this survey which is designed for young people, living in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, who are between 16 and 19 years of age.

Sexual Health Teesside provides full contraception services, such as Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) testing and treatment, chlamydia screening, HIV testing, terminations of pregnancy, sterilisation, vasectomies, cervical screening and psychosexual counselling.

The service also offers outreach services in schools, colleges and other settings to provide appropriate access to sexual health services for young people and other at risk groups.

Throughout July young people will have the chance to complete an online survey which aims to answer the following questions:

  • How satisfied are you with the current sexual health services, advice and guidance?
  • How would you rate your experience of the service if you have used it?
  • What are your thoughts on the different methods of sexual health delivery available i.e. face to face appointments vs use of technology and where sexual health services should be available and when?
  • What barriers do you think young people face in using sexual health services?
  • How could we improve access and engagement to the service?

You can also be assured that any information you share will be treated in the strictest of confidence in line with GDPR guidance, and you do not need to provide your name.

All responses to the questionnaire will be used to help shape the service, enabling us to ensure we continue to meet the needs of the people in our borough.

The survey will close on 31 July 2020. Please click on the link below to take part and thank you.
