Healthwatch North East & North Cumbria: Working Together For Change Overview Report 2025 - 2026

This report highlights how the Healthwatch NENC network worked collectively during 2025–2026 to bring people’s experiences into system decision making, from local services to national policy.

Healthwatch Stockton-on-Tees is part of a coordinated network of 14 local Healthwatch that work together to improve health and care services both regionally and nationally.

During 2025–2026, the Healthwatch North East and North Cumbria (NENC) network brought together insight from local communities to inform decision making across health and care.

We supported the system to understand what people experience in real life. What works, what doesn’t, and what needs to change.

This report gives an overview of the diverse work that the Healthwatch NENC network has been involved in throughout the year.
