The Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council Public Health team are currently reviewing the health needs and priorities of local residents in relation to living with a healthy weight.  The latest data suggests that in Stockton-on-Tees around 2 in 3 adults are overweight or obese, and around 1 in 5 children in their last year of primary school are experiencing obesity.

There are significant health benefits from living at a healthy weight, and Stockton Borough Council would really value your support in helping them to better understand the challenges, and the things that can help.  This will help them identify how they, alongside local communities and organisations, can support more children, young people and adults in Stockton-on-Tees to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.

If you are a professional or volunteer who works with children, young people, families or adults in Stockton-on-Tees, Stockton Borough Council would like to hear from you. You can share your insights from your experience of working with people locally in the Healthy Weight survey below.
