Hospital Discharge Survey - Patients and Carers

Since March 2020, we have all been living through some of the most difficult times any of us will have ever experienced. In order to meet the sudden need for more beds, the NHS had to change the way it discharged people from hospital.

People being admitted to hospital faced uncertainty and this was sometimes made worse by the fact that they could not receive visitors and may have been cut off from relatives and loved ones. Carers had much more limited access to hospital staff whilst trying to obtain information about the condition of their relatives, friends or clients.

We want to hear your hospital experiences from March 2020 onwards so please share your views by taking part in our short, anonymous surveys.

PATIENTS - tell us what it was like in hospital and how your discharge was eventually managed.

CARERS - if you had a relative, friend or client who was admitted to hospital.
