If you become unwell over the festive break, your pharmacy is a great place to visit for professional advice. Pharmacists are experts in medicines and minor ailments and you can drop in without an appointment.
Community pharmacists can also see patients for seven common health conditions (listed below) without the need for a GP appointment, so please ask for their help in the first instance. If you do need further attention they will refer you.

- earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
- shingles (18 years+)
- impetigo (1 year+)
- infected insect bites (1 year+)
- UTIs in non-pregnant women (16 - 64 years)
