NHS England Wants Feedback on Spoken Word/Non-Spoken Word Interpreting Services

NHS England and NHS Improvement would like to invite you to share your views on spoken word and non-spoken word interpreting services in Primary Care.

Background

Our current interpreting arrangements in Primary Care come to an end on 30 September 2020 and we would like to hear your views on what has worked well and what could be improved. Your feedback will be used to shape how these services will be delivered in the future.

Spoken Word Event 

Date: 25 March 2020
Time: 6pm to 9pm
Venue: Cathedral Suite, Emirates Riverside Stadium, County Durham

Non-Spoken Word Event

Date: 26 March 2020
Time: 6pm to 9pm
Venue: Cathedral Suite, Emirates Riverside Stadium, County Durham

These sessions are for any patients who have used a spoek or non-spoken word interpreter when they have gone to their GP, Dentist, Pharmacy or Optometrist since April 2018. The session is also for people who have not used an interpreter since April 2018 but who may need to use an interpreter for a GP, Dentist, Pharmacy or Optometry appointment in the future.
